My approach is grounded in real experience, not just theory. I’ve lived through rebuilding, loss, responsibility, business leadership, divorce, and reinvention. I use that lived perspective alongside my 8 yrs training in existential analysis and logotherapy to help men move forward with clarity and meaning. We will develop coping strategies.
School wasn’t my strength, so I started working young: taking care of the local church grounds, fishing with my father, working in the woods, welding, machining, retail, and eventually becoming one of Canada’s top salesmen in my twenties. My path wasn’t linear it was built on whatever honest work I could find, wherever I could find it.
After moving to Vancouver, I became a refrigeration apprentice, completed my certification, and eventually built my own HVAC company, growing it to almost $2 million in annual sales. Later, after a significant life transition and several years of reflection and volunteer work in Nicaragua, I had a realization: the work that truly mattered to me was helping others rebuild their lives, the way I rebuilt mine.
